Get Your Mojo On!

What would you do if someone took your most prized possession. I mean, how would you feel if you were minding your own business and someone just reached right in and grabbed the very essence of what makes you who you are?

That's what happens when craziness sneaks in. Craziness has the slyness of a fox and the creeping sensation of a spider and just sneaks in to the strangest situations. It will come in, make you forget all you know, and has the ability to take what--your dignity.

Yup...your dignity. It's all we have. It's all we can exemplify to our offspring. Our dignity will make us hold our head up in spite of being cast down by others. Our dignity will allow a homeless person to clean up the trash around their spot under a bridge. Dignity.

But when craziness comes in...all that is forgotten. Craziness can come in the form of an unexpected phone call that causes you to lose your cool in the middle of a quiet restaurant. Craziness will cause you to act in ways where everyone begins to doubt your salvation. That sly-dog Craziness.

Why does it exist? This is just my humble opinion, but--have you ever heard the saying--"Opposites attract?" Well, think about it. What's a ton of sanity without a little--insanity? You will never be able to grow until you learn that it is through crazy that you gain the most insight into yourself--and others. Matter of fact, it is when you are totally out there that you learn more self control for the next situation. You have to learn your breaking point. The wise saying is "if you always do what you've always done, you'll never get what you've never had."

So, embrace your crazy. Heck! Embrace others'. It will help you discover a new you. The peace of mind that comes after you break through that level of self awareness of loss of self control is...maturing...
