I used Dr. Seuss as a child and continue to this day. I'm sorry I just met you here. Better late than never. Would love to know more about you! I also worked with children with disabilities one of which is very dear to me and still in school. His Senior year in Arcata, CA born with Cerebal Palsy and soon to go out on his own. (his wish). Usually I worked with K-3rd grades, however, I did reach up into the 5th grade several times to grab those whom hated reading and couldn't only to find one more child whom had not been able to grasp the art of reading in Humboldt County at the time. I relocated to the Central Coast 3 years ago and love it here. When I go home to Humboldt I still see children and many of them play with the Cat and The Hat words, as we did in play... oops, I mean reading. =) So very glad to make your aquaintance!
